Ms. Kay J. Harlow has more than 24 years of experience in the real estate industry. She currently serves as a Principal of The Whitmore Company and President of Whitmore Management, where she oversees daily operations, financial management, and property management activities.

Prior to co-founding The Whitmore Company, Ms. Harlow worked for over five years with Roseland Property Company as Administrator of the Virginia office. Ms. Harlow provided day-to-day administrative management for Roseland. In February 2012, she continued her professional partnership with Mr. Daniel W. Aston to establish The Whitmore Company, an urban infill multifamily development firm.

At The Whitmore Company, Ms. Harlow is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, supervising employees, and managing administrative and accounting functions. She serves as Chief Financial Officer for multiple business entities associated with The Whitmore Company and plays an active role in supporting new development initiatives.

As President of Whitmore Management, Ms. Harlow oversees the property management operations of apartment communities developed or acquired by The Whitmore Company, ensuring efficient management and operational excellence.

Earlier in her real estate career, Ms. Harlow worked for over five years with S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. in the Sales and Development Department. Her responsibilities included preparing leases, purchase and sale contracts, agreements, correspondence, and reports, as well as creating marketing materials for prospective tenants. She utilized a range of industry and business software, including Microsoft Office, MRI, Aerials Express, and iSITE.

Before entering the real estate field, Ms. Harlow spent 17 years at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center, where she ultimately served as Executive Assistant to the Hospital Administrator.
