Christopher R. Branch

REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE

Mr. Christopher Branch serves as the Regional Director of Maintenance for Whitmore Management, where he oversees maintenance operations across the multifamily communities totaling approximately 1,000 units throughout the Hampton Roads area. In this role, he leads and supports maintenance teams across the portfolio, establishes operational standards, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives efficiency, quality control, and long-term asset preservation. He also oversees and prepares for REAC inspections on the properties.

Chris has been in multifamily maintenance since 2009. Chris has leadership experience and brings extensive technical expertise in HVAC systems, building diagnostics, and preventive maintenance. He holds a Class A Contractor’s License and certifications in HVAC and Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CMAT) as well as developed comprehensive hands-on proficiency across plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, gas systems, concrete, drywall, and grounds maintenance.

Since joining Whitmore Management in 2018, Chris has played a key role in strengthening maintenance operations and implementing best practices that enhance property performance and resident satisfaction.

Prior to Whitmore, he served as Maintenance Supervisor with SL Nusbaum Realty Co., and Winn Residential (a division of The Winn Companies). In these roles, he successfully managed large residential communities, led teams of up to ten maintenance professionals, coordinated third-party contractors, and ensured compliance with REAC and Virginia state inspections.

Earlier in his career, Chris served as a Marine Electrician and HVAC Supervisor with Ocean Marine Yacht Center, where he strengthened his technical foundation and leadership capabilities in complex mechanical and electrical systems.
